Affiliate Information
Gothic Quarter Rooms is free to read, and affiliate commissions are how it pays for itself. This page explains exactly how that works.
How affiliate links work
Some links on this site are tracked affiliate links. If you click one and then book, buy or subscribe, the partner pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price as you would going direct — the commission comes from the partner's margin, never from you.
Who we work with
Our current affiliate partners fall into a few groups: hotel booking platforms (the links on every hotel card), attraction tickets (Tiqets), city attraction passes (Go City), airport and port transfers (Welcome Pickups, KiwiTaxi), car rental (EconomyBookings), bike rental (BikesBooking), luggage storage (Radical Storage), travel eSIMs (Yesim), flight search (Aviasales), flight-delay claims (Compensair), on-trip medical care (Air Doctor) and bus, train and flight tickets (INFOBUS). The list changes as partnerships come and go, and the disclosure note on each page always refers to the links on that page.
What commissions never change
Editorial decisions come first. We research hotels and services before deciding whether a link is worth adding, we say when something is not worth your money as readily as when it is, and no partner has ever been given control over what we write. When a page carries an affiliate link, it says so next to the link or in a note at the foot of the page.
