The Wittmore is an adults-only boutique hotel of 22 rooms on Carrer de Riudarenes, a narrow lane off Carrer Ample in the Barri Gòtic. Its courtyard holds what the hotel calls the largest vertical garden in Barcelona, and its rooftop, the Sobreático, looks out over the old town towards the sea and the roof of the Basilica de la Mercè. The ground-floor restaurant is Contraban, run by the chef Alain Guiard, and the living room hosts resident DJs on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Every room has a complimentary minibar.
